President-Elect Donald J. Trump

Look - Trump wasn't my guy. I was a staunch Cruz supporter. But you know what? My guy didn't win the nomination.

Faced with potentially voting for the lesser of two evils, or tossing away my vote to a third party candidate who had no chance, I had to make a decision.

At the risk of losing friends, I will now admit - after a long hard process of thinking and soul searching, I voted for Trump.

Why? Two words: Supreme Court! Those of you who know me, know that I am a die-hard gun rights and self-defense rights activist.

This election win, coupled with the absolutely brilliant insight of the Republican Senate to refuse to confirm Obama SCOTUS nominee Garland, has pretty much assured that we will get our Supreme Court back to a conservative lean. We can possibly strengthen it as a conservative bench even further, as Ginsberg and Breyer age and grow closer to retirement.

I was told to vote my conscience. So, I did. My conscience told me that if we lost the Supreme Court, we would NEVER get our country back.  My conscience also told me that the Benghazi four, Ty, Sean, Glen, and Chris, were deserving of vindication.

Patriots: I expect ALL of you to stay engaged! Don't go back to sleep. If you think the liberals aren't going to work immediately to figure out how they can take it back next election, you are mistaken.  We still have a lot of work to do to gain conservative strength in the U.S. Senate.  And we especially have a monumental task ahead of us to turn my beloved state of Colorado back to a RED state again.

Hold this administration accountable, and let them know we're not letting them off any easier than the Urkal administration.

And don't let your emergency preparedness guard down. The inauguration is still two months away. Anything can happen between now and then, real or fabricated.  The riots we are seeing now are proof of a country still severely divided.  If you look at the violent activities perpetrated within our country in the last several years, it is mainly upset democrats and activist liberals doing it.

I love my country, but I still fear for her.
